ABOUT THE RESTAURANT AT THE INN: Also from the Lonely Planet Guidebook "The owners recently opened The Mirador Del Cafetal on the outskirts of Atenas. This lovely coffee shop which sells their own brand of La Negrita coffee, is named Mirador (look out) for good reason. Java Philes will be in heaven with 19 types of cappuccinos on the menu, and there is also a variety of snacks and meals. Souvenirs from all over the country are sold here." "Wow adequately expresses your first and lasting impressions of the Inn, a spectacular bed and breakfast with all the elegance and luxury of a no-expense-spared five-star hotel. What taste owners Romy and Lee Rodríguez have displayed in their 10-bedroom hostelry. Light streams in through glass doors and huge, rounded by windows that offer miraculous vistas. The open-plan lounge even has marble floors and cascading fountains and thick white pillars holding the bedrooms aloft! Outside is just as impressive, with a patio and steps that lead down to a large, tiled swimming pool and a sand-floored, shady rancho and restaurant." - From Tourist Guide "Costa Rica Handbook" done in 1997, by Christopher Baker, Moon Publications.
